| Not bad for not having much experience. If it fails again put some jumper wire along those ground solder points. I would also put a jumper wire between the points in this picture. The trace corroding and becoming open under R3 is a main cause in the failure. Also, you might want to protect the exposed copper traces from the elements. A simple way to do it is to use clear finger nail polish. It last a long time and is easy to remove if you need to resolder in the future.
